Sanne Kaal is a designer and curator working at the intersection of art and functional design. Her practice explores the relationship between precision and organic transformation, expressed through texture, colour and contrast. Modular thinking is central to her work, allowing objects to exist in multiple configurations and evolve through context and use.
She is the creator of the PILL twotone series, where layered gradients of glaze and material create subtle shifts between tactility and reflection, expanding through repetition into larger compositions and spatial installations.
Alongside her design practice, she is the founder of FINISHED FORMS, a platform for material-driven and functional contemporary design, where she develops curated presentations that focus on the dialogue between works.
