A wave is fluid and changeable, a process, connected to everything, full of potential and constantly in motion. Exploring different intermixing paths to all possible destinations.
Particles are tangible, they have individual forms, they appear definite and concrete, precise and present.
Wavicles are both a wave and a particle at the same time. It is an element of Emergent Strategy, Adrienne Maree Brown uses this concept from quantum physics to study the relation of emergence and movement. In its multiplicity, a wavicle represents something that can hold multiple truths at once.
Through hair, illustration, photography and sculpture, these STICKY participants show how identity, memory, and connection are continuously in motion, while at the same time becoming tangible and concrete.
