Studiowondervorm is mijn studio in Amsterdam. Ik werk op het snijvlak van kunst en design. Mijn inspiratie vind ik in materiaal, vorm en kleur. Momenteel richt ik mij op het ontwerpen en maken van lichtinstallaties, lampen, en kunstwerken door al gebruikt plastic te transformeren tot een nieuw object. Met een passie voor duurzaamheid en design wordt er gezocht naar de schoonheid in het alledaagse en de verwondering door te experimenteren met licht. Het resultaat: composities met herbruik van plastic in diverse vormen en kleuren. Altijd uniek.
Studiowondervorm is my Amsterdam-based artistic practice exploring the transformative potential of everyday materials. Used plastic forms the starting point for sculptural works, light installations and objects. Through an intuitive process of collecting, cutting, layering and experimenting with light, colour and transparency, discarded material is transformed into something luminous and contemplative. Traces of use, imperfections and unexpected qualities become an integral part of each work.
Rather than imposing a predetermined form, the material itself guides the process. Fragments, colours, textures and reflections come together in compositions that shift with light and perspective.
Studiowondervorm is rooted in a fascination with transformation and wonder: finding beauty in the overlooked and creating moments that invite us to pause, look again and experience the familiar anew.
