For my upcoming exhibition at @edhainterieur I will be presenting a new series I’m working on around GLUE’s theme ‘Home’.
It’s called 'Home Within': exploring home as a feeling instead of a place we buy or rent. A safe place we build within ourselves.
It’s about learning to feel safe, seen and loved within ourselves too.
As a solid foundation for whatever life asks of us.
Some learn this naturally while growing up. Many of us need to overcome a few construction challenges, or worse, to build this foundation ourselves as adults. Step by step. Choice by choice. Essential choices in life, just as much as the aesthetic choices we make in our personal spaces.
This series invites us to practise this skill we call home. Always leaving a peaceful way out, and back in ♥️
