Mickaël Mehala, also known as Black Childish, is a Martinican artist based in Amsterdam. His work explores his identity and heritage as an Afro-Caribbean through visual poetry, a sense of (re)imagination and the use of Pop Culture references.He studied Graphic Design in Paris and Motion Design at Gobelins, and now creates expressive works across different medias, going from his digital illustration background towards more physical works, currently exploring sculpture and painting.
