Bas Pattyn is a Belgian artist living and working between Ostend and Brussels. With a background in graphic and furniture design, he creates abstract geometric sculptures that explore depth, light and shadow through folds, cut-outs and layered planes. Working with aluminium, MDF and natural stone, Pattyn balances refined form with the natural qualities of materials, creating dynamic compositions rooted in structure and complexity.
