1m2 Connection Point – A Collective Installation by 1m2 Collective
For GLUE Amsterdam 2025, 1m2 Collective presents the 1m2 Connection Point, an installation celebrating the Sticky Participants initiative.
Each year, GLUE empowers five individuals to invite emerging designers to take part in the festival free of charge – creating space for inclusion, accessibility, and new connections. We believe this spirit deserves a physical presence.
Known for fitting layered exhibitions into a single square metre, 1m2 Collective removes hierarchy and champions shared space and dialogue.
This installation will bring together the work of all Sticky Participants into one shared square metre, a visual symbol of overlapping stories, expanding networks, and design as a collective force. It’s a celebration of collaboration, visibility, and the potential of bringing inclusivity as a central point to your design festival.
