LIGHT OBJECTS FROM USED CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
Motivated by concerns about waste and overproduction, Juliette Wesseling transforms reclaimed construction materials into unique lighting objects.
After receiving her master’s degree in biomedical engineering at the TU Delft, she worked in the corporate environment for a while. But a strong desire to design and create brought her back to making.
Rather than starting with a fixed concept, she lets found materials guide the process, believing it's far more challenging and inspiring to develop ideas from what’s available, instead of forcing materials to fit a pre-made plan.
