The Millen House
First international soloshow by textile artist Diana Bitar
During GLUE 2025 we proudly present the first solo show of Diana Bitar. Her exhibition, I was tears, laughter I became, introduces new works in silk and a site-specific installation transforming the gallery.
Born in Lebanon and now based in Brussels, this young talent crafts hypnotic, hand‑dyed silk sculptures that ripple and bloom like corals, floral epics or secret topographies. Her work has already found resonance with collectors and earned acclaim at prestigious fairs such as KunstRAI and Collectible.
In this debut solo exhibition, Bitar unveils a bold, subversive installation that engages the viewer’s senses: layers of pleated fabric invite touch, reflection—and transformation. It is an immersive setting, where art uncovers hidden connections between material, memory and imagination.
