Dirk Ettema

I am Dirk Ettema, 34, from Deventer. Background in Industrial Design. I create custom furniture design pieces. I also teach woodworking courses and am active in organic agriculture with my wife. I have a deep love for the traditional craft of woodworking by machine and hand. My technical background allows me to stretch the limits of the materials and processes I work with.My philosophy is Fewer, Better Things. An effort against the world of overconsumerism we find ourselves in.
